Summer Meeting

Bruce Nykamp, President called the meeting to order

New members were introduced and welcomed by the club

Thank you to the Misseldine’s for the use of their shop for shipping during Old Bird Season 2019

Thank you to Holland Dredge for the use of his trailer and all the effort he puts in on the race schedule and checking on the weather for releases and races

Thank you to Steve Earl for doing an excellent job as Treasurer for many years. Steve will be retiring from the job. Bruce Nykamp nominated Cindy Dingman for Treasurer. There were no other nominations. Vote- unanimous.

There was a presentation of Awards to Holland Dredge and Kent Misseldine for Old Bird race season successes

An Auction was held to raise money for the Club treasury- Thank you to all for donating 10 birds

$390 was raised from the bird sales

Young Bird Season-

Shipping will be at Shay Plagmann’s

Shipping costs will be $178 per loft

The race season will be 4 weeks

Young Bird Race season will start on September 21, 2019

The flying direction will be Southwest

Stations to be flown are- Burley, ID, Hollister, ID, HD Summit, NV, Elko, NV

Drivers will be paid 30 cents per mile

A new shipping fee will be charged each week at 10 cents per bird

After auction monies collected , awards paid for and the last driving bill paid to Steve Earl  for Old Birds the treasury sits at $279.30
